Mit dieser Auseinandersetzung habe ich beim Editorial Projekt über Emmenbrücke gearbeitet. Emmenbrücke ist ein Vorort von Luzern, etwa sieben Minuten mit dem Zug entfernt. Der Ort ist, wie viele, im Umbruch. Alte Häuser werden abgerissen, neue sind noch in der Bauphase. Was hat der Ort in diesem Zustand an sich? Diese Frage habe ich mir gestellt und mit meinen Illustrationen und der Auseinandersetzung mit Typografie versucht, zu beantworten. Ich habe die Umgebung zeichnerisch beobachtet und in zwei Zustände unterteilt, das neue und das alte.

I worked on the editorial project about Emmenbrücke with this subject in mind. Emmenbrücke is a suburb of Lucerne, about seven minutes away by train. The town, like many others, is undergoing radical change. Old houses are being demolished and new ones are still under construction. What do we like about the place in this condition? I asked myself this question and tried to answer it with my illustrations and my exploration of typography. I observed the surroundings in my drawings and divided them into two periods, the new and the old.
